Before you paste this in
Open Google Street View (or satellite view) for your address, take a screenshot, and have it ready to attach. When you paste the prompt below into Claude, attach that screenshot too. Claude will look at it, ask "Have you been here?", and walk through specific details with you — overhead lighting, building positions, what's really on each side of the road — before writing the final image prompt. Point out anything the photo gets wrong or doesn't show, the way you would describe it to a researcher.

What this tool actually does
This page does not retrieve any historical data itself — it only builds a research instruction, and it can't take a screenshot for you. Whether real facts get used depends on which mode you picked above. "Use real historical data" mode asks Claude to search for direct records, check the present-day location as a supporting clue, look at any screenshot you attach, and discuss it with you before writing anything. "Conceptual reconstruction" mode skips the web search but still does the screenshot discussion if you attach one. Either way, the weather field is always treated as an artistic mood choice, never a verified historical record, unless Claude finds an actual dated weather record and says so.
