What this tool actually does
This page does not retrieve historical data or generate images itself — it builds the instructions for the AI that does. The AI is required to conduct a broad, systematic search of publicly accessible records and current-location evidence, inspect the attached reference image, interview you, and clearly separate verified facts, your firsthand account, historically likely inference, and speculation. The current image is a spatial reference, not proof of historical conditions. The AI must also check whether the site's modern land use existed on the target date instead of projecting today's golf course, park, building, road, or landscaping backward. The weather field is a visual preference only: an actual historical weather record takes priority when one can be found; otherwise the selected weather must be explicitly labeled as a suggested visual mood, not verified historical weather.
